Jahangirnagar University admission application begins tomorrow. Admission application for Jahangirnagar University (JU) 2021-22 will start tomorrow (Wednesday, May 16). The application will start at 10 am on this day. The admission application will run till 11:59 pm on June 18. Earlier, the information was given in a circular signed by Abu Hasan, Deputy Registrar (Education) and Secretary, Central Admissions Management Committee of the university on April 26. This time admission test will be held in five units in JU. Jabir has increased the admission application fee this time.
The application fee for Jabir A, B, C, and E units has been increased to Tk 900 from Tk 400 to Tk 800 last year. However, the application fee for the D unit is Tk. 800. The first-year admission test will be completed between July 31 and August 11. However, the final date and schedule of the admission test will be informed later through notification. Students who have passed the secondary/equivalent examinations of 2016 and its subsequent years and the higher secondary/equivalent examinations of 2020 and 2021 will be able to apply for the first year of admission to JU this time. Total GPA including 4th subject of Secondary / Equivalent and Higher Secondary / Equivalent examinations will be calculated.
In addition, G.C.E. Students who have passed at least 5 (five) subjects in Level Examination from 2016 to the next year and at least 2 subjects in A-Level Examination in 2020 or 2021 will be able to apply for admission. The applicant should have at least a B grade in 4 subjects and at least a C grade in 3 subjects out of a total of 6 subjects of Level and A level. Students with the required qualifications can apply to any unit.
