Dhaka University Admission application starts on 20th April and the exam on 3rd June. Dhaka University (DU) has scheduled the admission test for the 1st year undergraduate (honors) class in 2021-2022. According to the schedule, the admission test for the ‘C’ unit of the Faculty of Business Studies will be held on 3rd June, the admission test for the ‘B’ unit of the Faculty of Arts will be held on 4th June, admission test of ‘A’ unit of science faculty will be held on 10th June, admission test of ‘D’ unit of Faculty of Social Sciences will be held on 11th June. The admission test (general knowledge) of the ‘F’ unit of the faculty will be held on 18th June. Examinations for Units ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, and ‘D’ will be held from 11 am to 12 noon. The admission test (General Knowledge) of the ‘C’ unit will be held from 11 am to 11:30 am. The admission test will be held in 6 divisional cities including Dhaka. Candidates will start submitting online admission test applications and fee submissions from April 20 to May 10. Admission test tickets can be downloaded from 2nd May to 1 hour before the start of the test.
This was finalized at a meeting of the General Admission Committee on Thursday (April 8). In today’s meeting, it was decided to take MCQ number 70 and written test number 40 in the admission test of ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, and ‘D’ units. It was decided to take MCQ of 40 marks and written test of 60 marks only in the Unit C examination. Units ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, and ‘D’ have 45 minutes for the MCQ test and 45 minutes for the written test. Unit C has 30 minutes for the MCQ test and 60 minutes for the written test.
As a minimum qualification for the applicants, the total GPA for the ‘A’ unit is 7 and for GPA 3.5, separately for the ‘B’ unit. And GPA 3.0 separately, total GPA 7.5 for ‘C’ unit and GPA 3.5 separately, total GPA 7.5 for ‘D’ unit and GPA 3.0 separately (but science, agronomy, home economics and madrasa Candidates from Science Branch of the Board of Education should have a total GPA of 6 and 3.5 separately) and for Unit ‘C’ the total GPA should be 7.5 and separately GPA 3.0.
