Islamic University vacant in 529 seats

Islamic University is vacant in 529 seats. At the end of the admission process of the seventh merit list of Islamic University (IU), 1461 students out of a total of 1990 seats have been admitted. 529 seats, or 36 percent of the total seats, are still vacant.

Ahsan-ul-Ambia, director of the ICT cell of the university, confirmed the information on Sunday (January 8). According to ICT cell sources, 361 seats out of 550 seats in the ‘A’ unit, 114 out of 990 seats in the ‘B’ unit, and 54 out of 450 seats in the ‘C’ unit are vacant.

Ahsan-ul-Ambia, director of the ICT cell, said admission to the ‘A’ and ‘B’ units of the university is almost over. However, many seats are still vacant in the ‘A’ unit. It has not been decided yet to start classes. Those who have been admitted to other universities but who were excluded due to the closure of migration. Some of them want to be admitted here again. Their admission is being arranged.

Earlier on December 25, the seventh merit list of admission was published. In the merit list, 949 students in the ‘A’ unit, 608 in the ‘B’ unit, and 433 in the ‘C’ unit got admission.
