Teacher-student application for scholarshipbegins on February 1

A special grant will be given to teachers students of Madrasa and Technical Education Institutes. From February 1, educational institutions and teachers, and students of the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education in the Ministry of Education will have to apply online to get the money. You have to apply for special sanction grant money online till February 28. This information was revealed in a release issued by the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education, Ministry of Education.

It is learned that the revised policy has been issued for disbursement of special sanction grant money to teachers students of Madrasa and Technical Education Institutes. Under this policy, teachers of Madrasa and Technical Educational Institutions should apply for grants to students.

According to the revised policy, madrassa and technical educational institutions will get a maximum of Rs. 50,000 for special sanction. Teachers will get a maximum of Rs 20,000. And students will get between Rs 3,000 and Rs 7,000 per level.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education, students of government and private MPO and non-MPO educational institutions under the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education can apply for a special grant for the treatment of incurable diseases, physical accidents, and medical expenses. In this regard, students from disabled, helpless, opaque and talented, non-backward communities will get priority.

In addition, special grant grants can be applied for repair and renovation of recognized or MPO private educational institutions, making furniture, purchase of sports equipment, library development, and making the institution student-friendly with special needs. However, opaque educational institutions in non-backward areas will be given priority in selection.

And the teaching staff of recognized independent and connected Ibtedai Madrasa and privately recognized or MPO madrassas and technical education institutions can apply for approval for incurable diseases or physical accidents.

The Department of Technical and Madrasa Education said that by entering the department’s website (www.tmed.gov.bd), you have to click on the ‘Application Form for Financial Grants to Educational Institutions, Teachers and Students’ and apply for online donations. No application will be taken in hardcopy.

The notification further said that in the financial year 2020-2021, those educational institutions, teachers, employees, and students have received grants and they will not be able to apply for financial grants in the current financial year 2021-2022.
