For this, first of all, open the Google Map app on the phone and tap the profile icon in the right corner. Then tap the offline map. Now tap the ‘Select Your Own Map’ option. Enter the option and select the area map you want to download. Then tap the download option. In this case, one thing to keep in mind is that the offline map that you have downloaded on the phone can show you some new routes in your area. This offline map, however, expires within 15 days. So you need to update the downloaded map quickly. And after expiring, Google Maps automatically updates that area, if your device has a WiFi connection.

For this, as usual, you have to open the Google Maps app on the Android phone.
Then tap the profile picture and then click on an offline map.
Now tap the expiry or expiring area from this list.
Then click on the Update option.
