Begum Rokeya University The government will assist in the development. Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Abu Bakar Siddique, said that the government of Bangladesh would extend all possible cooperation in all fields including academic and administrative to make Begum Rokeya University (Berobi) a quality university. He said this while inaugurating the newly constructed examination hall of the university on Sunday (March 8) at 11:30 am.

The education secretary said if there is a good learning environment in our educational institutions, good quality students will come out. Today’s students will take part in running the country in the future. University is the last step of formal education. So the big place of our attention is the university. At the time when students are admitted to the university, their mind is active. There is the heat of youth in the mind, if they cannot adjust this heat then they can be misled. For this, the university authorities have to take appropriate initiative. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed to make maximum use of the land available in the university. All kinds of cooperation will be provided by the government.

After that, he laid a wreath at ‘Bangabandhu Mural’. Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Hasibur Rashid, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sarifa Salwa Dina, Proctor Golam Rabbani, Student Advisor Nuruzzaman Khan, Director of Finance and Accounts Dr. Hafizur Rahman Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts. Tuhin Wadud and other teachers and officials.
