The university’s second admission test is its own decision. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni says there should be no barrier to higher education in the global situation. But the public universities of Bangladesh have decided to take the admission tests once. It could have been given twice before. There was even one more opportunity in the once-given exam at Dhaka University. Now it is no longer being kept. Now there is an opportunity for admission.

He also said that the issue would be discussed at a press conference after the results of the Higher Secondary Examination were released on Sunday. They are autonomous institutions. Yet we have talked and talked with them, including the UGC. We want to increase student opportunities. Students of the same merit and quality will be admitted to the universities. So taking the admission test for the second time will not reduce the standard. Then universities should not object to the admission of students of the same merit with multiple opportunities.

“We have removed the age barrier in technical education,” he added. In many countries of the world, there is no age limit for education. We also have to go to that place at some point. But whether we can go now or whether it will take more time is a matter for our consideration. We have to make arrangements so that anyone from any stage gets the opportunity to get higher education.
