Medical college admission application time has been extended. The Department of Health Education has decided to extend the application period for admission in public and private medical colleges in 2021-22. The department will issue a notification in this regard on Tuesday (March 6) or tomorrow (Wednesday, March 9). However, considering the number of students who have applied for the re-examination of HSC results, it has been decided to extend the application time. Students are going to get the opportunity to apply for admission online till March 15.
On Tuesday (March 6) at noon, the Director of the Department of Health Education (Medical Education), Professor. AKM Ahsan Habib. He said it has been decided to extend the application period by five days. Admissions will be able to apply online till March 15. The money can be deposited until 11:59 pm on March 18. Earlier, the notification of medical admission was published on 24 February 2021-22. According to the published notification, the application deadline was supposed to end on March 10, but it is being extended to March 15.
Admission test tickets can be downloaded from 26 to 29 March. The admission test will be held simultaneously across the country from 10 am to 11 am on April 1. Those who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 2020 or 2021 can apply for admission. GPA obtained in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations will be assessed by determining the total as 200 marks. In this case, 75 marks have been fixed for GPA obtained in SSC and 125 marks for GPA obtained in HSC. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of a total of 300 marks.
The admission test will be held at number 100. You have to answer 100 MCQ questions in the exam. The value of each question is 1. MCQ test will be in 1 hour. The medical admission test will have 20 marks in Physics, 25 marks in Chemistry, 30 marks in Biology, 15 marks in English, and 10 marks in general knowledge, history, and Liberation War (100 in total). Must get minimum of 40 marks out of 100 marks in the written tests. Less than this will be considered unsuccessful. Only the successful candidates will be declared with the merit list.
