How to Apply for Medical Admission. The application for admission in the first year MBBS course in government and private medical colleges of the country in 2021-22 has started today, Monday (February 26). Admission application has started from 10 am. Students will be able to apply online till 11:59 pm on March 10. The application fee is 1 thousand rupees. Application fee can be submitted through Teletalk till 11:59 pm on 11th March. Admission test tickets can be downloaded from 26th March to 29th March. The admission tests will be held simultaneously across the country from 10 am to 11 pm on April 1.

How to apply

The application form has to be filled in as per the instructions of the Department of Health Education by depositing Rs.1000 / – through Teletalk Prepaid SIM. Family Welfare Department website (www.mefwd.gov.bd), Department of Health Education website (www.dgme.gov.bd), and Department of Health website (www.dghs.gov.bd). Applications can be filled by visiting Teletalk’s website (http://dgme.teletalk.com.bd), but before that, some information and materials must be kept. These are:

1. A color image of yourself (jpg) measuring 300 x 300 pixels. File size should not exceed 100 kb.
2. Scanning 300 x 80-pixel size is your own signature (jpg). File size should not exceed 60 kb.
3. These two devices need to be stored on a computer or pen drive.
4. In English, you have to save your district, current address, permanent address in writing.
5. The names of the admitted medical colleges should be written in the order of their choice. Because the order of preference cannot be changed once given.
   If you have this information and materials, you have to go to Teletalk’s website (http://dgme.teletalk.com.bd) and fill out the application form. The user ID number can be seen after uploading the picture and signature. That page must be printed.

Procedure for submission of fees

Go to the message option of Teletalk prepaid mobile phone, type MBBS, space followed by User ID number, and send to 16222.

Example: Type MBBSFRLGCT and send to 16222. In the return SMS, consent will be sought with a PIN number, name of the candidate, and deduction of Rs.1000 / – as an examination fee. To give consent, go to message option, write MBBS with space, YES with space, PIN number with space, maximum four center codes of choice (test center code number) with space and send to 16222.

Example: Type MBBSYES45678919,38,47,26 and send to 16222.If everything is completed correctly, the user will be given a User ID and Password in the return SMS. From March 26, the candidate will be able to download the entry form with the User ID and Password. Downloaded admission form and HSC or equivalent examination registration form must be taken at the time of examination.
