1 thousand 60 students got scholarships in Barisal Board in SSC. In 2021, 1,770 students of the Barisal Board have been given scholarships based on the results of the SSC examination. Out of these, 187 students have been given merit scholarships and 1,583 students have been given general scholarships. Barisal Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board released the list of students who received scholarships on Tuesday.
The government will give scholarships to 25,000 students based on this year’s SSC exam results. Out of these, 3,000 students will be given merit scholarships and 22,500 students will be given general scholarships. The scholarship amount will be delivered directly to the accounts of the students through G2P or EFT. Students getting merit scholarships will be given Rs 600 per month and Rs 900 per year at a time. General scholarships will be given Rs 350 a month and Rs 450 per year at a time. The scholarship amount will be deducted from the scholarship-merit scholarship sector of the revenue budget for the financial year 2021-2022.
