Dhaka University’s first-year undergraduate admission test is likely to be held in May-June. In 2021-2022, the university administration took the initial decision to cancel the ‘D’ unit of the Faculty of Social Sciences in the first year undergraduate (honors) class admission test of Dhaka University (DU), but the university administration has withdrawn from it in the face of widespread criticism. As a result, hsc passed admission students will be able to participate in the admission test in the existing 5 units as before. In this academic year also, admission tests will be held in all five units – A, B, C, D, and F.
The organizers are thinking of organizing this year’s admission battle in May, June, or July. For this purpose, a meeting of the academic council of the university will be held at the end of February or in the first week of March. It is learned that other decisions will be taken there including the final date of conducting the admission test.
The results of the higher secondary examination of students enrolled in the first year undergraduate (honours) class in 2021-2022 have already been published. “As the students are mentally preparing to participate in the admission test in the existing 5 units as before, it has been decided to retain the ‘D’ unit this year in the admission test of Dhaka University. As a result, admission tests will be held in all the 5 units A, B, C, D and F in this academic year. ”
From 2022-to 2023, the admission test for the first-year undergraduate (honors) class will be held through four reconstructed units.
