Regarding the candidates who have been appointed as MPO in non-MPO institutions, the NTRCA chairman also said, “Since we do not have our own manpower, we collect information about the vacant posts from Upazila and district education offices. Field officials were asked to give accurate information, but much of the information was found to be incorrect. We cannot hold them accountable as they are not under our jurisdiction.
The NTRCA had issued its third public notice on July 15 last year for the recruitment of more than 54,000 posts of teachers in private educational institutions. However, as there were no candidates and the women’s quota was not met, the initial recommendation was made to appoint 38,283 people. The NTRCA issued the final recommendation letter for the recruitment of 34,073 candidates as more than 4,000 candidates did not fill up the police verification forms.
