1,518 students get scholarships in SSC in Sylhet Board. Based on the results of the SSC examination in 2021, 1,518 students of Sylhet Board have been given scholarships. Out of these, 89 students have been given merit scholarships and 1,429 students have been given general scholarships. Sylhet Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board have published the gazette of the students who have received scholarships.
The government will give scholarships to 25,000 students based on this year’s SSC exam results. Out of these, 3,000 students will be given merit scholarships and 22,500 students will be given general scholarships. The scholarship amount will be delivered directly to the accounts of the students through G2P or EFT. Students getting merit scholarships will be given Rs 600 per month and Rs 900 per year at a time. General scholarships will be given Rs 350 a month and Rs 450 per year at a time. The scholarship amount will be deducted from the scholarship-merit scholarship sector of the revenue budget for the financial year 2021-2022.
