Bangladesh Railway (BR) has started the system of intercity train ticketing through national identity card verification, the introduction of POS (Point of Sales) machine in ticket checking system and online return of tickets purchased online from today.

How to cut train tickets in the new way: At the beginning, you have to login to the website or rail sheba app with the current username and password. There you have to write the NID number and date of birth and click on the verify button.
If the NID number and date of birth are entered correctly, if the NID number has not been used earlier, then the registration process will be completed successfully.
Take note –
1. Computerized tickets will be available from the counter from 6 pm tomorrow 25th.
Since the tickets will be sold manually on the 25th, you will get the ticket on the 26th from that time.
You will get a ticket again as a 5-day advance date. In that case, you will get tickets from March 26, March 26 to March 29.
Tickets will be available only at the counter from 6 pm on the 25th. You will not get tickets online at this time.
5. From 8 am on the 26th, you will get 50% of the tickets online along with the counter as well as online as per the previous rule.

Online tickets will not be available on any app for the time being. You can only find it on the railway’s online ticketing portal (eticket.railway.gov.bd).
7. Your previous railway service or eSheva account will not be useful to make online tickets. You will have to re-register with NID/birth certificate on the said portal.

How you can buy tickets.
Bangladesh Railways will once again sell tickets online from 8 am on Saturday (March 26). However, this ticket can be purchased through a specific website, not an app. In this case, you need to enter the website and complete the registration first. After completing a few steps, passengers can buy tickets.
How to register for train Ticket
In order to travel by train in the new process, you will first have to enter the www.eticket.railway.gov.bd website (can be accessed from 8 am on March 26). There will be a ‘Registration’ option at the bottom of the website, clicking there will be a new page named ‘Create an Account.
There is a need to fill in the ‘Personal Information’ related empty parts with the necessary information. After that, fill in the ‘Security Code‘ displayed next to the ‘Security Code‘ option and click on the ‘Register‘ option.
If all the information is correct, a new page called ‘Registration Successful‘ will appear. An e-mail from Bangladesh Railway will be sent to the e-mail provided by you immediately from the e-ticketing system. When you open the mail, there will be a ‘Click‘ option, clicking on the link will complete the registration or registration process successfully.
How to buy train tickets
Only after successful completion of the registration process will the passengers be able to buy tickets by entering the website at a specific time. To buy tickets, you have to first enter the www.eticket.railway.gov.bd website.
When you enter there, the panel of ‘Login‘ will appear. In the panel, you need to fill in the e-mail (the e-mail with which registration will be done), password and security code and click on the ‘Log in‘ option. Then there will be the “Purchase Ticket” option.
From that page, you will have to fill the empty rooms by telling which station you will travel from, which station to go to, the name of the train, the date of the journey, the class (shobhan, AC chair and cabin) and the number of tickets.
After that, if the train ticket or seat is vacant, then the ‘Registration Seat is available. At the same time, the price of the ticket will be notified. The passenger will now have to click on the ‘Purchase ticket’ option.
The ticket money has to be paid through a credit card, cash card or BRAC Bank account. Once the payment is made, the ticket will be sent to the passenger’s e-mail (given in registration) within a few minutes.
The ticket sent by e-mail has to be printed and accompanied by a photo and ID card should go to the concerned station and collect the printed ticket half an hour before the journey.
