Viva of 40th BCS started on 16th February. Viva of 1,337 candidates who has passed the written test of 40th BCS Exam-2018 will start from next 16th February. It will continue till March 03. The oral exam will start at 10 am every day. This information has been given in a press release of PSC on Wednesday (February 09). According to the PSC notification,
the revised date and schedule of oral examination of 1,336 candidates who have temporarily passed the written examination of 40th BCS Examination-2018 for technical/professional cadre posts has been published. The test will be held every day at the office of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission. PSC recently released the results of the 40th BCS written test. 4 lakh 12 thousand 532 candidates applied for the 40th BCS preliminary examination. Of these, 3 lakh 26 thousand candidates have appeared for the exam.
20,026 of them passed the preliminary. PSC published the notification of the 40th BCS in August 2016. A total of 1,903 cadres will be taken in the 40th BCS. In this, 200 people will be recruited in the administration cadre, 72 in police, 25 in foreign countries, 24 each, 32 in customs and excise, and about 600 in the education cadre. A total of 1,903 cadres will be recruited. However, this number may increase further.
