NCTB gave amendments in three textbooks তিন পাঠ্যবইয়ে সংশোধনী দিলো এনসিটিবি. The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) has amended the textbooks. Three textbooks for classes 9-10 have been revised. The NCTB released the amendment on Tuesday.
The three textbooks that have been corrected are History and World Civilization of Bangladesh, Bangladesh, and World Identity and Municipal Policy and Citizenship of classes 9-10. Four mistakes in the 9th and 10th history and world civilization books have been corrected. On page 181 of the book, it was said, “From March 26 to December 16, 1971, there was torture, mass murder and destruction of the Pakistani military all over Bangladesh.” The amendment states, “From March 25 to December 16, 1971, there was torture, mass murder, and destruction of the Pakistani military all over Bangladesh.”
Page 200 of the same book reads, “On January 12, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman took oath as prime minister to Chief Justice Abu Sadat Mohammad Sayem.” “On January 12, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman took oath as prime minister to President Abu Sayeed Chowdhury.
On page 202 of the book, it was said that the framing of the Constitution would be added after the first paragraph of the background part of 1972. The amendment states that the framing of the Constitution shall be added after the first article of the background part of 1972… The ideological position of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was reflected in the formulation of the constitution. Bangabandhu was a constant guide in the formulation of the constitution. He gave direct instructions to the Constitution Committee on various fundamental issues.
On page 203 of the book, it has been said that in the fifth part, the National Assembly. The amendment to that section states that in the sixth line, the ‘legislature in the fifth part’.
Three amendments have been made in the book of Bangladesh and World Identity of 9th-10th grade. On page 6 of this book, it is said that in the election of 54 AD, the United Front was formed with four parties. The four parties are Awami League, Krishak Sramik Party, Nezam-e-Islam, and Ganotantri Dal. The amendment to this section states that the United Front was formed with five parties in the election of 54 AD. The five parties are Awami League, Krishak Sramik Party Nezam-e-Islam, Ganotantri Dal, and Pakistan Khelafat Rabbani Party.
On page 16 of the same book, it is said that Rajarbagh Police Camp and Pilkhana EPR Camp in Dhaka. According to the amendment, Rajarbagh Police Lines and Pilkhana are epr headquarters.
On page 28 of the book, it is said that the preservation of the fundamental rights of the common people is the main feature of this constitution. The amendment states that the protection of the basic human rights of the common people is a feature of this constitution.
Two aspects have been revised in the book on municipal policy and citizenship of classes 9 and 10. Paragraph 1 of the Powers and Functions of the President on page 57 of the book has been replaced. The amendment states that the powers and functions of the President shall be substituted by article 1 of its order, the President is the head of state. All governance works of the government are carried out in his name. He carried out the work according to the advice of the Prime Minister in discharging his duties except in the field of appointment of the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice. He appointed ministers, state ministers, and deputy ministers. It is also the responsibility of the President to appoint the top officials of the state (General Accountant, Ambassador, and other high-ranking officials). The supremacy of the defense departments is vested in the President. He appointed the chiefs of the three services (army, air force, and navy).
NCTB gave amendments to three textbooks
On page 59 of the book, the paragraph of the Prime Minister’s Power and Work-1 serial will be replaced. The amendment states, “The Prime Minister is the Head of the Cabinet. Under the authority of the Prime Minister, the executive powers of the Republic are exercised in accordance with the Constitution. He determines the number of members of the cabinet and distributes portfolios among the ministers. He can suggest the removal of any minister from his post.
