He carried out the work according to the advice of the Prime Minister in discharging his duties except in the field of appointment of the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice. He appointed ministers, state ministers, and deputy ministers. It is also the responsibility of the President to appoint the top officials of the state (General Accountant, Ambassador, and other high-ranking officials). The supremacy of the defense departments is vested in the President. He appointed the chiefs of the three services (army, air force, and navy).
