National University College Transfer Rules 2023. NU College TC Apply জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কলেজ ট্রান্সফারের নিয়মাবলীঃ Many times students of national universities need to change from one college to another. In a notification published on the national university’s website, the university authorities have published the rules for the change of clearance/college. Let’s find out the rules:
After the student has passed the 1st year, the student can apply from (a) government colleges to government and private colleges, (b) private colleges from private colleges. But you can’t apply for a transfer from a private college to a government college. Again the student applied for admission in the 1st year in a college but was admitted to another college through the release slip, in which case he could not apply for clearance in the previously applied college or equivalent college.
If the guardian (father/mother/husband) is transferred to another district city, if the parent is not alive/unable, he will be considered a guardian if he/she is legally granted guardianship. In that case, the legal guardian will have to submit the necessary documents. Only parents working in government, autonomous and semi-government institutions can apply for clearance due to transfer reasons. The consent letter of the working guardian must be attached to the application.

If the girl student is married (after admission in the honours class), in that case, the marriage kabinnama, (in the case of Hindus, Christians and Buddhists, certificate by the Gazetted Officer of the 1st Class/Chairman of the Union Council/Ward Councillor, joint photograph of husband and wife and invitation letter of marriage, certificate of the institution in which the husband works, certificate, letter of joining, national identity card/proof of other work.
The student can apply for clearance on reasonable grounds at the college near his/her permanent address. If he does not have an affiliation to a college in his own district, he can apply for clearance to the nearest college in the neighbouring district. In that case, the student will have to submit his/her parent’s national identity card and guardian’s opinion form. If the authority thinks the matter is worth considering, give the TC
The guardian can apply for clearance due to death, if the guardian has just died, a copy of the death certificate must be submitted by the doctor or a certificate by the chairman. Due to the death of the actual guardian, the consent letter of the person on whom the responsibility of guardianship has been entrusted and the documents of his profession and place of work and copies of the national identity card must be submitted along with the application.
If the student is handicapped, in this case, the certificate of the Department of Social Welfare should be submitted regarding the disability.
Clearance cannot be allowed between two colleges located in the same district/divisional town. However, for special reasons, in the case of a girl student, the condition is relaxed..
In the event of suspension of educational activities/subject affiliation of the concerned college, in this case, the letter of cancellation of the grant by the college inspection branch of the university should be attached.
Along with the application, the Registration card, admit card and test result copy should be submitted.
A student cannot take the clearance multiple times.
At the time of applying, the reason for the clearance must be clearly mentioned in place of the reason.
How to apply:
A student can make an initial application for online clearance within 45 days from the date of publication of the result. The candidate’s mobile number should be attached with the application. In order to apply, you need to go to the Services menu of the National University’s website (nu.ac.bd) and go to The Standard Login and register. Download this PDF file to know the method of registration. Once you have registered, you need to login to that link. After logging in, clicking on TheIcademic Services on the left will get the list of Academic Services for Students. Clicking on Transfer College (TC) in this list will get the application form for clearance.
After verifying the initial application of the candidate, it will be notified within a week whether his/her application is eligible for consideration through SMS. If the application is accepted, the candidate will have to submit the final application form to the university in the prescribed form along with the clearance fee. Only the no-objection letter of the college granting the clearance has to be submitted along with the final application.
It is to be noted that in order to improve the quality of education, the application of the candidate will not be considered if the number of students – teachers of the college in which the candidate is willing to be admitted in the case of approval of the clearance is too high.
The clearance cannot be issued once the form of the course final examination begins to be filled. Moreover, in the 3rd and 4th year of graduation (honours) classes, clearances cannot be granted without special reasons. If any evidence of fraud is found in the documentary information, the admission of the student will be considered cancelled.
