Documents from exactly 100 years ago. My grandfather’s matriculation exam question, the very paper on which he took the exam, was in my father’s collection and is now in my collection. In this examination of 1924, he passed in the first division (it is heard, I have not seen his certificate).
His grandfather’s name is Abdul Hamid Master. Born 1907. His original residence was in Koaria village of Kalkini thana of Madaripur district. He received the gold medal of the best teacher during Ayub Khan’s tenure. Our village house is called the master’s house. He also had an anti-British movement and was imprisoned. In 1940, Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Huq came to the next village and met his grandfather and praised the library formed by his grandfather. Paralyzed by a stroke in 1970, he left this world in 1976.
My grandmother received the state title Ratnagarbha because of the appropriate 5 sons.
