From today, the admission process of students in the tenth merit list will also continue.
Meanwhile, Khulna university has been instructed to submit the original certificates (grade sheets) of the final admitted students of the first-year undergraduate/graduate (honors) class of the academic year 2021-22. These will have to be submitted to the concerned unit office by 3 pm on Tuesday (January 24). Otherwise, admission will be considered canceled.
It is learned that the student admission process from the ninth merit list has been completed. However, 66 seats are still vacant. The 10th merit list has been published for the students seeking admission to these seats. Admission will continue according to this list on Sunday and Monday.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the central admission committee held at the university’s vice-chancellor Prof Dr. Mahmud Hossain’s office on Friday evening. The matter was informed in a press release sent by the public relations department of the university at night.
The meeting also discussed the latest decision of the central committee on cluster admission and several important decisions, including the start and registration of classes at Khulna University.
According to the press release, the physical report for admission against the total vacant seats including quota in Khulna University will be done from January 15 to 16. The merit list of the students who have reported the vacant seats will be published on January 17. The final admission to the vacant seats from the merit list is from January 18 to 19. Earlier, those who were initially admitted to Khulna University will be admitted in person from January 15 to 16 (those who have already been finally admitted do not need admission). The online registration for the course will start on January 22 and will continue till February 5.
University Registrar (acting) Professor Khan Golam Kuddus said that detailed information in this regard will be published on the university’s website soon.
