JSC Vocational: 35 classes per week duration of 45 minutes. 35-period classes will be held every week for the students of the sixth, seventh and eighth grades of the JSC vocational curriculum. Each period will be 45 minutes. Seven-period classes will be held every day in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades of the vocational curriculum. And in these classes, practical classes of work-oriented engineering education will be held simultaneously for three periods. Earlier, there were a total of 36 classes in JSC Vocational six days a week. This year, the Technical Education Board has rearranged the number of weekly periods of the sixth, seventh and eighth grades of JSC Vocational as the educational activities are five days a week.

A notification was issued by the board on Wednesday informing about the matter. At the same time, the period and number format of the sixth, seventh and eighth grades of the JSC vocational curriculum have been published.

According to the notification signed by The Board’s Director (Curriculum) Farid Uddin Ahmed, 35-period classes will be held instead of a maximum of 36 periods per week in the JSC vocational curriculum. In this academic year, the institutional period of each academic year is 36 working weeks. There will be 5 days every week and 7-period classes will be held every day. The time of each period in this education will be 45 minutes.

According to the notification, practical classes (three periods) will be held simultaneously in the field of work-oriented engineering education subjects. Theoretical investigative tasks can be completed in practical classes if necessary. In the field of information and communication technology and digital technology education, two classes will be held simultaneously in the computer lab. Theoretical issues should be discussed in physical education and practical classes on health and health protection.
