According to a university press release, the merit list of students enrolled in the university will be published in the conference room of the university at 5 pm tomorrow (January 03). The results will be officially announced by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Soumitra Shekhar.Earlier, admission applications for the 2020-2021 academic year graduation (honors) class of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University started from December 12 (Sunday). It ended on December 30. However, there was no information on the amount of admission applications made by the university.
National poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University has 272 seats in science, 540 in humanities and 248 seats in commerce branches out of a total of 1,60 seats in 5 units (‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’ ‘D’ and ‘E’).

The ‘A’ unit has 55 bengali language and literature sections, 50 in English language and literature, 50 in philosophy. The ‘B’ unit has 40 seats in computer science and engineering department, 40 seats in electrical and electronic engineering department, 40 seats in environmental science and engineering department, 40 seats in statistics department.
In addition, 50 in the Accounting and Information System department of the C unit, 50 in the finance and banking department, 50 in the human resource management department, 50 in the management department.50 in economics department of D unit, 50 in public administration and government management, 50 in law and justice department, 50 in development department, 50 in social science department. The E unit has 55 seats in the music department, 40 in the fine arts department, 25 in the theatre and performance studies department, 25 seats in the film and media studies department.
