The nu merit list for admission to the first year of graduation for the academic year 2023-2024 of the National University has been published. On Monday (June 20), the students can see this merit list from 4 pm.
This was confirmed by the Dean (Acting) of the National University’s School of Undergraduate Education, Prof. Dr Md. Nasir Uddin. The result is known through SMS on the mobile phone. Apart from this, the students can see the merit list from the national university’s website at 9 pm on Monday.
It is learnt that if the admission seeker who is placed in the 1st merit list is admitted in any educational program in the academic year 2020-2021, he must cancel the admission of the previous academic year by June 27, 2022 and fill the final admission form online. Otherwise, due to the dual admission, the admission and registration of the 1st year undergraduate (honours) class in the academic year 2021-2022 of the student will be deemed to be cancelled.

It is to be noted that the application process started from 4 pm on May 22 and continued till 12.00 pm on June 9. At the end of 18 days, a total of 5,48,428 people have applied for admission in the three units of science, humanities and business education in the 2021-22 academic year. Of these, 1,60,884 applications have been received in science, 1,12,765 in business education and 2,74,782 in humanities.
The bachelor’s degree (honours) is taught in 881 colleges at the National University. Of these, 264 are government colleges and 617 are private educational institutions. There are a total of 4,36,285 seats admitted in the first year in the undergraduate (honours) class.
It is to be noted that if a student who is ranked in the 1st merit list wishes to change his subject, he will have to select the yes option in the specified room of change of subject in the final admission form. In this case, according to the choice of subject of the students, the subject will be changed on the basis of merit in the subject-wise vacant seats in the respective college. Classes for the students admitted in this academic year will start from July 03, 2022.
