চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (চবি) ‘এ’ ইউনিটের স্নাতক প্রথমবর্ষের ভর্তি পরীক্ষার আজ। পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করবেন ৬৮ হাজার ১১০ জন ভর্তিচ্ছু শিক্ষার্থী।
সোমবার (১ নভেম্বর) ও মঙ্গলবার (২ নভেম্বর) সকাল ও বিকেল দুই শিফট মিলে মোট চারটি শিফটে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসের বিভিন্ন কেন্দ্রে এই পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
আজ সোমবার দুই শিফটে অংশ নেবেন ১৭ হাজার ২৮ জন ভর্তিচ্ছু। বাকি শিক্ষার্থীদের পরীক্ষা আগামীকাল দুই শিফটে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
বিজ্ঞান, জীববিজ্ঞান, ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ও মেরিন সায়েন্সেস অ্যান্ড ফিশারিজ অনুষদভুক্ত সকল বিভাগ ও ইনস্টিটিউট নিয়ে গঠিত এই ইউনিট। ইউনিটটিতে আসন রয়েছে এক হাজার ২১২টি।
প্রসঙ্গত, আগামী ৫ নভেম্বর ‘বি-১’ ও ‘ডি-১’ উপ-ইউনিটের পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। চারটি ইউনিট ও দুইটি উপ-ইউনিটে ৪ হাজার ৯২৬টি আসনের বিপরীতে এবার আবেদন করেছেন ১ লাখ ৮৩ হাজার ৮৬৩ জন শিক্ষার্থী।
