The last time to correct the stipend information is January 20
The government has directed to revise the information of all students who have received scholarships. Students pursuing scholarships in PEC, JSC, SSC, HSC, and graduation examinations in merit and general quota have been asked to correct the data mistake by January 20.
On Monday (January 16th), instructions were issued to all heads of institutions that the return information of students who have been awarded scholarships in pec, JSC, SSC, HSC, and graduate (pass/honor) examinations should be corrected by January 20. In the office order, all the educational institutions in the country, the chief and officer in charge (except madrassas and technical educational institutions), were requested to enter the MIS online software link by January 20 and correct the misinformation of the bounce back, students.
Miscorrecting information in MIS software follows-
If a bank account/school bank account is opened in the joint name, both names should be entered in place of the accountant’s name in case of correction of information in the software. The student’s name and online bank account name should be the same. The online bank account number must be within 10-17 digits and must be filled correctly and accurately. Bank name, branch name, routing number, and student’s bank account number should be filled incorrectly. The bank account has to be active. As per the decision of the Ministry of Finance, since fy 2019-2020, all types of scholarships in the revenue sector are being sent as banks of the student through EFT in the G2G system. But the eFT bounce back due to lack of bank information including bank account number, bank and branch name, routing number in the information sent by some educational institutions. As a result, the scholarship money of these students has not been deposited in their bank. The information of these returned students has not been corrected by the institute even after multiple notifications earlier.
