MBBS admission Applications can be submitted till March 15. The Department of Health Education has issued a notification extending the application period for admission in government-private medical colleges of the country in 2021-22. The notification signed on Tuesday has been published on the website of the department on Wednesday. The deadline for online MBBS admission application in 2021-22 has been extended till 11:59 pm on March 15. The money for the online admission application can be submitted by 11:59 pm on March 18.
The notification of medical admission was published on 24 February 2021-22. According to the published notification, the application period was supposed to end on March 10, but it has been extended to March 15. Admission test tickets can be downloaded from 26 to 29 March. The admission test will be held simultaneously across the country from 10 am to 11 am on April 1.
Certificates of Bangladeshi nationals who have passed SSC and HSC examinations from foreign education activities should be equated. For this, you have to deposit two thousand rupees and apply with the director of the health education department (medical education and manpower development). Merit list will be prepared by deducting 5 marks from the total marks for HSC pass candidates as in the previous year and 7.5 marks from the total marks for the students admitted in Government Medical, Dental College Dental Unit of the previous year.
Passed HSC and equivalent examinations (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 2020 or 2021, they can apply for admission. GPA obtained in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations will be assessed by determining the total as 200 marks. In this case, 75 marks have been fixed for GPA obtained in SSC and 125 marks for GPA obtained in HSC. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of a total of 300 marks.
The admission test will be held at number 100. You have to answer 100 MCQ questions in the exam. The value of each question is 1. MCQ test will be in 1 hour. The medical admission test will have 20 questions in Physics, 25 in Chemistry, 30 in Biology, 15 in English, and 10 questions in general knowledge, history, and liberation war (100 in total). Zero-point 25 will be deducted for each wrong answer in the MCQ exam. Must get minimum 40 marks out of 100 marks in written test. Less than this will be considered unsuccessful. Only the successful candidates will be declared with the merit list.
