Begum Rokeya University Second merit list released 2022
On January 9 and 11, Begum Rokeya University (Berobi) conducted its first merit list interview for the first year of graduation in 2020-21. Out of the 1,395 seats allotted in three units, only 254 have been admitted.
It is learnt that out of 707 seats in the ‘A’ unit based on Faculty of Science and Engineering, 92 out of 362 seats in B unit based in Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, 108 out of 362 seats and 54 out of 326 seats in C unit of Faculty of Business Administration. Which is 18.20 per cent of the total seats. As a result, in the absence of the remaining 81.80 per cent of the students, the first merit list admission programme was completed.
This information was confirmed by Dr Mizunur Rahman, Dean, Engineering Faculty, Berobi and Director, Cyber Centre. Meanwhile, the second merit list was released on Tuesday night (January 11) subject to a vacant number of seats.
The allottees will be admitted from the second merit list on January 16 and 17. A release said a department-based second list has been released for admission. The results will be known on the university admission website (http://admission.brur.ac.bd/). The second list has been released by allotting subjects against the remaining vacant seats in the departments as per the merit order and the order of choice at the end of the auto-migration process as per the preference order of the students enrolled from the first merit list.
It is learnt that after appearing for the admission test in a cluster manner, the university authorities published merit lists in ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ units on the basis of applications. Detailed admission information can be found on the university’s website (http://admission.brur.ac.bd/notice).
